Its February already our mother has been really busy lately, she has yet to post any of our exciting adventures for January, never mind February.  So here are a couple of quickies until she (our mother) gets her act back together.  We haven't really had good walks or anything! 

January we started visiting the kids in Hartford.  We have 3 special friends we get to see a couple of times each month.  They each get to read part of a story and we hang out, listen, take a little snooze because they are such great readers we relax really well!

 We have also goone to visit our friends at the library also. Its a little slow there right now for Story Hour, so I (Zenny) have had to find other things to amuse myself with after story hour.    Its much more fun if there are lots of kids, but when there are only a few, I must entertain  myself somehow!

 Last but not least, my sister Lucy has been busy doing this agility thing.  She got lots of ribbons, I'm thinking I might need to try this sport!  And my mother thinks so too, she started training me and Lucy on Fridays.  Last week I went on this thing that moved, its called a see saw, you know, like the see saw or teeters that you play on at the playground?  Kind scary at first but I think I got it!

Zenny goes to college and Lucy goes to middle school

Hi Kids!  Guess what, I went to college again!  Its great fun, as I got to travel to different places and meet new college students.  When they have to take big tests the schools have started inviting therapy dogs, like me, to come and play for a bit.  You know how nice it is to just sit and pet me?  Well the older kids like it too, and the teachers!  My mom got some nice pictures of our fun,....

And Lucy, well she had her first official visit to the middle school.  It went fabulous, but I'll let her tell you,....., Lucy???



Hi, Lucy here - yes I had a GREAT time at the school.  I  helped with a student who is learning to read better.  And, I got to point out the pictures I liked.  We sat in a nice quiet room where we read 2 books.  It was so much fun we are going back in January.  Do you like to read?  Its lots of fun, especially when you can do it with a friend,...

Look what I can do!

Its me, Lucy.  While my brother Zenny has been visiting lots of difference places I have been doing fun stuff too!  I got to go to a school in Coventry and compete in an obedience trial.  And I got a nice ribbon for going and I did really well!  Its called Competition Obedience and some folks do this with their dogs.  It can be a lot of fun.   My mother was VERY proud of me!  Check it out, some nice lady videotaped us so we could watch it later.  And I also did agility this month, I've been busy!

This week I went to the library to see the kids also.  Miss Cheri gave me a cookie,.... thanks Miss Cheri!  And look, Miss Cheri is making trees for the winter display, pretty cool, isn't it? 

Catching up with Zenny!

Hi, its Zenny here.  Do you celebrate Thanksgiving?  If so, I hope you had a lot of good times, fun with your family and lots of turkey! 

I have been VERY busy and my mother is having a little trouble keeping up with my blog.  So here's a bunch of stuff all at once.  Its been very fun. 
First, the library is very busy these days getting ready for the holidays and for SANTA!!!! Did you know Santa is going to be at the library again this year?  And I'll be there also!  We hope to see you on Dec 14th - I'm hoping that I will be able to whisper in Santa's ear again,..... 

Second, my sister Lucy and I went to visit a nice school in Hartford.  Last year I went to this school and helped with their reading program and we are going to do that again this year also.  Lucy and I will be taking turns visiting the kids and joining in with their reading. 

And, more college visits are coming up!  I will get to go visit the girls at St. Joseph's College in West Hartford and then see everyone at the library at UCONN College also.  I will be a very busy boy and will be taking big long naps between things....

The Leaves are Coming the Leaves are Coming!

Hi Kids, Zenny here.  Did you know, its Fall?  and you know what happens then?  leaves fall to the ground and you get to play in them after your mom or dad get them all in a big pile for you, yeh!!!  Lucy and I love to play in the leaves, I'll bet my mommy will take a picture of that pretty soon!

Library visiting was fun this week.  The big project after story hour was a nice leaf collection on paper.  And, I got to read a book with one of my very special friends.
