Christmas at the Library - Ho! Ho! Ho!

Hey kids, did you know, its Labrador weather!  We love the cold  brisk air, mom and dad, not so much, but this weekend I got to go for a nice long hike with just my Mom and Dad - no one else!  It was my special day.  What fun we had. 

I did a little recycling, got to run and play with sticks, and had a nice talk with my dad,..... check it out.

Hi kids!  Sorry we are late with our blog, my mother wouldn't turn on the computer for me!  but here we are now,

last week at story hour, we got messy!  It was fun, everyone made thumb print pictures, and I made a paw print, check it out!

Oh, and I think I left a few purple paw prints on the floor at the library, sorry Miss Cheri!

And then, well this week we read a really fun book about making scary faces,. and all the kids looked really funny!  I just watched because its hard for dogs to make faces!

Check out the cool fish pictures that we made See Garrett?  He's hiding behind his picture but I know its him because he is holding my leash!  He likes to help my mother,....

 In a couple of weeks Santa will be coming to visit!  I can't wait, Miss Cheri invited me to visit with Santa so I will see you there!

Kittys and Sticks!

 Hi Everyone! Zenny here, look what I found at the library! Its a stick! There are great fun for me, I chew a little bit, throw it up in the air, its fun!

And then, look what I found inside the libary! Story Hour again! and LOTS of kids, I love KIDS! I made some new friends also. This week we read about cats and kittens. Do you have a cat? I do, her name is Izzy! I share her with the rest of my family - she hangs out with us and sits on a seat to watch the birds.

hi everyone!  today I went to a different story hour and what fun we had.  There were 20 kids!  How exciting!  and most of them I had never met before so I made a whole bunch of new friends,...

today's project was to make a fish, it was very cool.  my daddy LOVES fish.  do you?

Boo!

Hi!  are you getting ready for Halloween? 

my sisters and I are, we are practicing for the big day, check it out, don't we look like funny Halloween monsters?  We have glow in the dark eyes! 

Frog are a hopping!

What fun we had this week at story hour.  We read all about frogs!!  My mommy loves frogs and toads.  At home we have frog blankets, frog statues, she even loves the color green so much that we have a green door!  I even have a frog toy, see? 

but the best part about frogs is that you got to wear them on your heads!   After story hour you the project was to make a frog it hat.  Look how cute everyone looks!  I couldn't take my eyes off on you,....

I had SO much fun at story time listening about frogs my mother took me to the pond to look for some on my own. We ended up playing fetch in the water so I never did find any frogs, oh well. maybe next time! See you next week,..........

Check it out, Dock Diving!

hi kids!  well, this post isn't about me, its about my fun sister Lucy!  Lucy went to the Hebron Fair this weekend and went dock diving!!!!  do you know what that is?  its when dogs get to jump off a dock into a big pool of water to go after a toy!  my mommy took Lucy and had lots of fun.  we saw some of our friends from the library to, Hi Siera!!!! (and hi to mom and dad also!)

story hour begins!

Hi everyone
how exciting, story hour is about to begin!  I hope you were able to sign up.  next week will begin the fall session and I can't wait to see all of the kids again,....

its been a little lonely at the library but I know that will change.  meanwhile, Miss Cheri gave me lots of attention this week and we spent time in her office learning about next weeks program,....  I was very attentive,..............

my mom received a present this weekend, a very good friend made it for all of labradors that live at the house!  we think that it looks the most like me,............... what do you think? 

Hello - How Are You?

Hi Everyone
my mom and I are taking a little break from the library for a couple of weeks.  I miss you kids a lot but my mom has a lot of stuff going on as the summer comes to an end.  we will back for story hour though, don't you worry!  and my sister Lucy is going to school to be a therapy dog also, so maybe you will get to visit with her also,.......... 

but we have been busy around home, our grandparents came to visit and last week my mommy took us to Evergreen Walk for a little visit.  that was a lot of fun.  if you are a well behaved dog they let you go into some of the stores and walk around, cool!  but I can't knock stuff over or run around,...  and, I got to visit with a couple of kids also so that was a nice surprise,......

anyway, its been a slow couple of weeks and today it is very hot so we are inside the air conditioning or outside in our little pool. 

summer is almost over!

hi everyone, I think summer is almost over and you are all getting ready to go back to school.  I hope to still see you at the library, Miss Cheri and my  mother are working on a new schedule.  hope to see you back and reading very soon.

we had a wonderful time, I have so many friends at the library.  today we read about Black Beauty, a horse who had many owners and many jobs.  I am a lucky dog, I have had only one owner and she loves me very much.  your mommy and daddy love you very much also - its so nice to be loved,.........
