smells, smells and more smells
Hi Everyone!
What did you do last week? While we are waiting to get back to the library for story hour, my mother is taking me to go tracking. Do you know what that is? Well, its really fun. My mother takes me to a big field along with a friend and her dog. The people make a trail in the grass field and drop cookies along the way for us to find. Its kind of like following breadcrumbs or a treasure hunt! Then, after walking, turning and walking some more, you get to find the big prize - usually its a cool thing like an old glove filled with cookies, a little toy truck, something cool! If I get really good at this I might be able to get a ribbon for it!
We go to a really cool place called Horse Barn Hill at UCONN College. Its an awesome place and when you are done you get to visit with the cows and play in really cool mud puddles,.... check it out.....

We are BACK!!!
Hi Everyone!
Zenny here,....So sorry you haven't heard from me for a while. My mother, she is the one who knows how to use the computer,... has been kind of busy and did not have time to talk about what we are doing. But, we are BACK!!!!
And, did you hear? I went to college also! I went to this really nice place in Storrs, CT. Its called UCONN! Its a really cool place, they have horses, cows, a big hill to play on, a really nice library and ICE CREAM!!!! I got to visit with the all of the college students who were studying hard AND I met the UCONN mascott! Do you know what a mascott is? Its an animal that the school uses to show how cool they are! UCONN has a dog called a husky named Jonathan for their mascott. Husky dogs pull sleds in the winter time.

| I love you Hunter! |
The library is great fun as usual. Last week we spent a long time with one our good friend Hunter. He is so gentle and soft when he visits with us, we could stay there all day long!
My sister Lucy, she has been busy doing agility. Do you know what that is? Its when dogs get to run around a cool obstacle course and have lots of fun doing it! Sometimes you even get ribbons. Lucy is going to tell you all about it in her own post!

Hello Kids!!!
Story Hour is back, yeh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are looking for me, right now I am visiting the library on Tuesday morning for the 10:00 story hour. I am usually there until 11:00 or after so if you can't make story hour you can still visit with me! (PS I will NOT be at the library the week of 3/21 because my mother is busy and I cannot drive!)
I got to visit with a lot of nice kids today. And, I saw my friend Nick! (we forgot to take a picture!) Check out my friends with their funny hats. Can you guess what they are???? Okay, I'll tell you, its St. Patricks Day and they made funny green hats to wear - ha ha!

Story Hour Starts Soon!
Hey Kids!
I have missed story hour with you! But a little birdie told me its starting up soon.
Here is what I have been doing this winter I received my certificate to be an official R.E.A.D. dog. That stands for Reading Education Assistance Dog! It means, that I get to wear a special little tag AND I get to help you with your reading! I do that by listening really carefully, showing my appreciation by giving big wet sloppy kisses AND I also point on the pictures on the book pages! We did some of this last summer at the library and now I have also joined the Reading Program at a middle school in Hartford, CT.
Last week they had a little graduation program for the kids. They improved so much on their reading that they had a celebration! Here I am with some of my new friends,... see you soon at the library!
